Road Atlanta 1:15.1 GT record lap
Ride along for my 1:15.1 lap of Road America on a warm June morning. That lap time not only eclipses GTD and GTLM, but also formula Atlantic and lmp3 qualifying records at the track.
The Ford GT mk IV is simply an incredible car, and I can't say enough good things about the teams at Ford performance and Multimatic, and how they put together this friendly, beautiful, and extraordinarily fast track weapon.

458 Challenge EVO at Sears Point Raceway

A couple new-tire laps of Sonoma in the 2023 Challenge configuration with an extended turn 7A. I am driving my trusty 458 Challenge EVO - it may be a decade old, but it is not at all slow! The first lap grip was near ideal; the second lap, the tires have come up above ideal pressures so the car's a bit of a handful, but good fun to drive.

Ride along in the blisteringly quick Ferrari 488 GT Modificata for a hot lap of Watkins Glen International. There's still a fair bit of laptime to be had as I learn the track, but ... good heavens, it's a fast circuit! and perfect for a high-downforce GT car like the 488.

Impressive lap. It's even more impressive knowing there was a slight drizzle. That explains the loss of grip with 25% throttle at 0:42.

What's incredible is he could clean up T7, T13/14 and get himself another record again?! My ONLY question is can this be duplicated turning off ALL electronics save ABS, maybe??? Because it seemed like there was a lot of F1 type of wizardry happening entire time?! Am I wrong in this? What mods were done, it'd be so cool if it were a street production record LOL 😆 but this is probably their GT3 race car maybe??? A lot of things I'm completely unaware of, I fully admit that, so please, no toes were meant to be stepped on, forgive me if I have, please 🙏

Very impressive lap and looks like a great car. But to be fair, there were no sausage curbs, allowing for a much faster speed through corners 4, 5 and 9
The frontal area of that slit of a windscreen is only slightly larger than the visor on the dudes helmet! Cool vid tho!

Is the speed in the bottom right MPH or KPH?
That's gotta be kph, but kinda strange as to why, maybe the driver? There's no way he's reaching almost 300mph on a straightaway

Great lap. It looks pretty bumpy going into the braking zone at the end of the start/finish straight. Weirdly it doesn't seem to bother the F1 cars though.

That's crazy fast! Even more is there's at least another .5 seconds of pace left out there on just a couple of slips... you are one hell of a driver man! Keep it up and I bet you can break 1:58 flat!
This was also done on a wet track in cold temps. This thing could go 1:53 in the right conditions.

Very Very Quick! Pretty Good Lines. He can be quicker... There is a lot more speed between T7 & T8. (Coasting???) Turning tick early in T11 & T20. Goes Wide on Track Out...Has to wait to Put Power Down. Watch again, see if you agree.

This looks even more impressive after SLB. The Mclaren 720 GT3X that entered did a 1:59.132 Makes me wonder if this Ford GT is stock, or if it has been improved as well? It looks like a pretty much perfectly driven lap either way.
